Well, almost been married a whole
entire year! October 25th is the big day! Seems like only months.
I met my husband through a mutual friend about 5 years ago. Little
did I know when I met him, I would be donating a Kidney to him 3 years
later!
Yeah! Still shocks
me at times! My husband was diagnosed with severe kidney failure about
2 years after I met him. So I went and got tested and turns out,
I was a perfect match! A year ago on June 12, we underwent the surgery,
and came out better than ever! My husband is in wonderful health, and our
lives couldn't be better. I have a beautiful stepdaughter which was
one priveledge of marrying my husband. She is 5 years old and smarter
than most adults I meet! She is a complete joy in our lives.
My husband and I are about to close on a house, which we are very proud
of. We are young and believe that now is the time to set the path
for our future. We have a gorgeous 1 year old boxer dog named Sophie.
She is a little ball of fire! Brings much joy into our home, after
a long hard day of work. When my husband and I do get to spend time
together (we both work completely different shifts) we like to just run
errands together, watch movies, grill out, and just enjoy each others company.
We both are very grateful in the many obstacles we have had to overcome
in the past years, but we also know that they have made us much much stronger
people. I am hoping to one day become an RN. I would love to work in labor
and delivery or even in Neonatal Care. I love babies, and children
of all ages and feel that I could help make a difference.
